Hilkar Electric Ltd. was founded in 1985 to manufacture switchgears for low and medium voltage systems. Later on, Hilkar expanded it's manufacturing range with a wide spectrum in power sector of laminated cores, toroidal cores with a very fast development. In early '90s, Hilkar began to produce resistors and reactors and in a short period with this wide spectrum of products entered into a leadership role in power quality industry.

Today, new power products are added to Hilkar's product offering each year. A new management format was developed and a long-term plan was put into effect. The ownership changed from a sole proprietorship to a general partnership and remains so today. Hilkar Electric is a privately owned corporation, employing 100+ employees and has significant ability for future in the high tech and power quality. The engineering and technical staff of Hilkar Electric Ltd. is outstanding. This team has a collective experience in manufacturing. Hilkar maintains the quality standards at the highest level. In addition to our manufacturing plant, we completed our new plant in 1998.
